Portrait Of A Breast Cancer Survivor
Tuesday, August 25th, 2009
I had the privledge to photograph Bernadette last Friday afternoon. Her sister in-law contacted me via the web. The two women drove all the way from outside Philadelphia (4 hour drive)
to have me capture Bernadette and to share her journey. I was moved to tears after they left my studio and was not able to work for the rest of day. The shoot was intense. Bernadette is so incredibly brave. These are her words:
“Most people think of cancer only on the inside. I see cancer on the outside everyday. Even though I smile, I see and feel pain constantly. Whether inside or outside this is what cancer looks like”
I plan on having another black and white portrait show late this fall on Breast Cancer Awareness and I will hang her images proudly.

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009
I love this family…….this happy family above are (from left to right) David, Laurie, Mike, Lauren and Lelia.
I could not stop taking photos of them…I adore them all!
I took too many in fact. Kind of a bad habit I got into once I went digital.
I am offering clients up to 50% off on many of my family portrait custom prints and holiday cards. So call today and book your family photo session!

KJ with Noah up at Candlewood Lake this past month. One of our favorite places to visit.
We have had an awesome summer between seeing friends, making new ones, seeing family and sunny days at the beach.
Today was back-to-school day. It is always bitter sweet…..the feeling of summer nearing and end and yet the freedom of 6.5 hours of total freedom!
KJ shooting at Danbury Hospital
Wednesday, August 19th, 2009
I’ve been keeping cool this week shooting at Danbury Hospital. The doctors needed new updated head-shots so I stepped in and photographed 40 amazing doctors for this week……and 60 or so more for next week. It has been fun! I did not know so many doctors are into photography. Looks like my fall-09 “natural-light” photography workshop is filling up. A huge thank you to Stephanie and all the doctors that made my job a piece of cake!
