When I photographed Harvey Fierstein is was non stop giggles. I just entered this image above in a really cool photo contest.
Alright I know what you’re thinking…..“Happy”…?? Well, Hal (my one and only go-to-guy for just about you name it) popped by my home studio for a session this afternoon. By the way, if you want the best Life Coach on the planet call this dude @ (203) 743-7722 I think today was the most fun I have ever with Hal to date because we got hooked on this whole yellow craze I’m in. Hysterical….even Phillip my handyman extraordinaire joined in for a few chuckles. I bought this yellow coat and I’ve been on a roll ever since. The break through for our session today was expanding my Lifestyle consulting business, which you will see unfold this spring!
How mello is your yellow? Yellow is the color of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Yellow produces a warming effect, arouses cheerfulness (don’t you feel happy just reading this?), stimulates mental activity, and generates muscle energy. Yellow is often associated with food. Bright, pure yellow is an attention getter…ya think?….which is the reason taxicabs are painted this color. In heraldry, yellow indicates honor and loyalty…for it’s just modern. Use yellow to evoke pleasant, cheerful feelings, stimulate your mind and encourage communication. I had to have all the senses going today so click on the links below and catch my yellow vibe:

Happy to say that my photo above “Got Milk” is a nominee at the 5th Annual Black & White Spider Awards. Thousands of images were received and my work received a high percentage of votes overall. The Jury passionately reviewed the entries before making their final nominations and after eight weeks of voting honored 84 title awards in 28 categories.
The 5th Annual Photo Show was attended by 35,000 online viewers who logged on live from 154 countries to see the winners and nominees. This is the biggest audience to date for the Spider Awards and its participating photographers. I’m proud to be among such amazing talent!
I photographed my sister (above), Kandeyce Jorden last week at her Venice, CA studio.

Her studio has great light and her art is really amazing. Besides taking her portraits I photographed her entire collection of paintings and I’m assisting her with launching her website and branding, too!
If you need your art photographed and/or need assistance in image consulting and marketing, please give me a shout at 1-888-278-1011. BTW, Kandeyce and I are planning a show for later this year that will combine our talents as artists. It will be very modern and will move you, for sure. Check back for details on our upcoming show and on Kandeyce’s new site.
I photographed Lyn Kehoe, head yoga instructor at Buddhi Mat Yoga last week. She is a powerhouse…her classes are packed and I can see why. Check out this fantastic new place at: (new photos will be added to their site soon)
Susanne from Ridgefield (above) just recently engaged. I photographed her on Tuesday afternoon at the Adam Broderick salon. This image will be used in the Wedding hair and Beauty book that I am currently working on.
